Thanks

Mounted it to the shot gun this turkey season to get a different view than the other camera.. Worked pretty well..

Other than hunting and fly fishing I hardly ever use it... Not really worth it IMO

I thought I would use it a whole lot more than I do but some times its a pita.

I've got he newest version whatever that is. Split the cost with my 13 year old. He wanted it. It really doesn't get used much

He likes playing with it, and he has every attachment/ mount possible, but not worth it in my opinion

I have the original GoPro Hero with all the accessories which will hopefully fit on the new GoPro's for when I'm ready to upgrade. I've got over a 100 hours of footage on an external hardrive with video of hunting, fishing, yaking, offroading, traveling in Europe and Costa Rica, scuba, spearfishing, hiking, horses, longboarding, etc. I think it's worth the money for sure. I've got a ton of good memories and fishing stored because of that thing. If I'm outside, it's with me.

Mine GoPro 2 was messed up for a while so I sent it in and got a brand new under warranty. Less than 24 hours after I received it, I melted it after I placed it on a Scentsy by accident.

I had one, didn't use it much. Got a new, better one and will use it more this summer. I've taken a few vids out hiking and driving around. I'll use it boating, flying and kayaking this summer, if we actually have a summer this year. If you get one, get the Hero3 black edition

Here are some test vids I have made.

Here is mine after it melted, disintegrated into pieces, and reassembled with super glueIt still smells like oil and has some inside.

Keep in mind that this camera was less than 24 hours old and flawless before these pictures. I took out the SIM card and it broke into pieces.

I thought they were awesome, but then got one and realized I don't do that much cool shite.

New baby + new job = not much for me to GoPro.

I have the hero 2. I take it on every hawking trip. I think it's worth the money. But, getting good video is more difficult than you might imagine, at least in the situations where I find myself.

Def worth the money if you go outdoors

We have ours mounted on the t-top and gaffs when offshore, regulator while diving, guns while hunting, bow fishing etc

Have hero 3 black and just sent it back because it wouldn't turn on. They're sending me a brand new one. Also, the new firmware is supposed to fix all of the glitches. I'll be wearing the hell out of my head strap come duck season.

I agree. I always throw mine in the boat and never use it or view anything if I happen to use it. Too much work to change out fittings, edit video, etc.

Have you not seen the new commercial...

I have been thinking about getting one too, just not sure I would use it enough to justify paying for it. I do have some gift cards to academy though...

Luckily most of my outdoor buddies have them so I don't have to spend hours editing the vids. I also don't have to wear the damn thing on my head like they do that shite is uncomfortable.
