Downshift has deleted many a truck. The new ones are in a diffeeent league

I deleted my 2010 duramax at 190k miles when the emissions system crapped out. Wish i had done it at 100k

That being said, i wouldn't delete until warranty was out

Like I said, I do Diesel engines for a living. Take it FWIW. You are foolish to delete anything on a truck that’s still under warranty. You are also foolish to delete anything on a truck that has a full SCR system.

I have a 2017 2500 Denali with duramax and really like it. I have always driven gm trucks so I didn't really look at the fords. Only thing I don't like is how it leans to the front, but I'm putting a lift on it to level it out etc. Other issue is I have not been able to find a grill guard/ brush guard with a winch carrier, waiting for one to come out.

my wife's 2014 ecodiesel grand Cherokee is telling her to drive highway speeds to burn off soot, we had the filter cleaned probably 8 months ago and she's on the interstate everyday. Why is this happening, it shuts down and won't let her go over 37 mph

Nice truck. I traded my Ford in for a Chevy. Probably won’t go back to Ford.

My next trade in will be for the Chevy or GMC 2500.

It’s probably not being allowed to complete regen cycles. The DPF is going to plug up eventually no matter what you do but letting it do a full regen as often as it wants will significantly extent that time.
