I need to buy a “nice” baitcaster as a gift but have been out of the game for many years. What would you recommend for my bass fishing nephew, max $150?

The revo premier BPS has 1/2 off is nice, $149. It will be a little bit more with taxes though.

LBF has the 13 Fishing Concept Z on sale for $79 (Great deal at that price). I have a couple and have been really happy with them so far.

Lew's tournament pro can be had on amazon for $166 with free shipping. Best reel there is at that price.

I have been happy with Daiwa Tatulas, they have a huge line up, I haven't been disappointed with one yet. I do like the coastals.. but if you are just doing fresh I don't know if the extra money is worth it over a tatula
