Gator Tail Warranty - Where to go for repairs

Looking like the coil packs are out on my buddy's gatortail.
Any suggestions on where to go for repairs or warranty items near New Orleans? Still under warranty, so we're trying to avoid the headache of tearing it down or potentially winding up in over our heads.
For your efforts, thank you in advance

Maybe the boat doctor in harahan?

I would think for something like a coil pack you may be able to get a normal small engine shop to do it? No idea on warranty work, for that you'll likely have to contact Gator Tail which you should no matter where you take it.
But they are close to a lawn mower then a traditional outboard right?

If you mean the engine is under warranty by Briggs, then definitely the Boat Doctor in Harahan. They work on those Briggs engines every day. They can repair any mud engine but I don't think they are a GatorTail dealer so if your warranty is the Gator Tail warranty, I'd recommend Delta Performance in Morgan City. I know it isn't close but they do a TON of Gator Tail work.

Looks like Delta is going to be our move much appreciated on the rec. Long shot on this one, but any speculations on their turnaround time?

It's hard to say. I spoke with Boat Doctor a week or so ago and they were about 1-2 weeks turnaround, which was pretty good considering we're in the middle of duck season. Not sure about Delta.
ETA: If it's coil packs and Delta has a long wait time, you may be able to use the Briggs warranty. If so, another option would be Guidry's Engine service in Morgan City (985-519-3093). He's a good one-man-shop and could likely turn it around quickly and get you back to hunting.

I guess I'm old school, if it was me in your situation I would call Gator Tail for a list of dealers near me.

This. They are very helpful when you call. And I agree with the OP: getting the motor to gator tail in loreauville is a huge pain in the arse
