I've had wise eye for almost a year. Have 2 cams. So far both have worked great. I've called the customer service to help set up twice & customer service has been GREAT i can testify.

The Tactacam takes a certain SD card. I use a Scandisk Extreme PRO 95MB Class 10 U3 V30. It was recommended by Tactacam and works excellent.

Not sure about Spypoint Flex but I have 6 Micro LTEs. 2 work right now. You make the call

List, I have the Moultrie Edge, and it takes great pics. I like the fact that I do not need a SD card. Make sure that you tilt it towards the ground a bit. I had mine flush on a tree and I was missing a lot of pics that should have been triggered by motion. Also, I recommend the standard unlimited plan where you pay monthly. I got the standard plan, 1000 pics a month, and believe me, that is not enough. Especially when you set it to go off in bursts at certain intervals. Otherwise, I am very pleased with the camera.

Yeah I have a buddy that has a couple that hasn’t had issues. My issue is, the last moultrie he had, it was shite. The version before

We run 12 spy points in Missouri and have the micros and micro LTE but recently bought 3 flex cams. The micros and LTEs are 4 years old and all still working. I do have to reformat cards and frimware every year which is a pain. The new flexes have been great though. Updates remotely and takes nice pics. For us getting 250 pics/month free with the insider plan was worth it. We’ll replace the old cams with flexes over the next couple of years. IMO they are a low cost solution if you need bulk cams. So far definitely a fan of the flex cams

Just did some reading on the WiseEye, and I like the “buy nearby” idea. Where’s the best place to order one from? I’m more the weekend warrior type (as your data plans dub it), is the mini sufficient for the more casual user?

We run the Tactacam Reveal. They work great and the batteries last a while. It's crazy how addicting they can be.

Brother is using Tactacams on his place with good luck. I had 3 Spypoints( Link- Micro) that I threw in the river last week.

If you don’t want GPS to track your camera, nor use the video option get the mini. The standard model will also be beneficial if you have poor cell service where you hunt. I’m running the standards and my Dad is running the mini’s. When I get more I’ll be getting the mini’s.

I trashed my Spypoints and went with Tactacam. So far they’re better.
The first year of a SPYPOINT works well. The next year they won’t cooperate with uploads. I had had enough

I just purchased two Moultrie cameras at the beginnning of the season. 1 Delta and 1 Edge. So far they have both worked great with no issues. The delta requires an SD card compared to the Edge, which does not. Would recommend either.

Just bought 3 more covert 30A (ATT) cameras . I had bought a tacatcam a couple years back when they first came out and it was awesome. Bought 3 more the next year no issues. This year i never could get them correct. 1 would drain the batteries in 24 hrs. The rest would send pics every few minutes. I reset the cameras and still had the same issues. Tried contacting them by phone with no luck. Tried thru facebook and after 2 weeks they aked me if i was still having issues. I replied and they never answered back. So now i am running 8 coverts 5 ea 30ATT , 2 that were on 3 g service ( non cell now) , 1 code black, and 1 spypoint. cost is reasonably $5.99 for first and $5.00 for ea other camera. Customer service is great and gets back with you in a timely manner.

I have TactaCams, my biggest gripe is the picture quality it pretty bad. I have seen others who quality is a lot better, not sure why.

I have 2 Gen 1 Tactacam Reveals and one Tactacam X. I had one of the Gen 1 go bad. I was very disappointed with the customer service. They would never call me and try to handle everything through email which was worthless. After about 4 or 5 days of emails, I get send $80 and you pay for shipping and we may be able to fix it or replace at a reduce rate.
I just ordered a WiseEye last night after seeing my BIL's pictures from the one he just ordered. I will keep my Tactacams going until they die. If WiseEye is as good as everyone says, I will replace the tactacms with those. Plus like others say the picture quality on the Tactacam app is pretty bad.
