That was really awesome, but that dude had a 50/50 chance of catching the arse whooping of his life. I surely wouldn’t have started petting him, assuming it’s not tame

I went free one in a hog trap. That deer beating himself up in the corner of the trap between the side and the door. I opened the door and pinned it up, then ran around the other side and he was able to get out. He ran 10ft and walked the rest of the way because he was worn out. I could have chased him down and stabbed it with a knife at the point.

That was awesome though. Honestly I would have probably just shot it and harvested it rather then risk getting hurt.

Can't believe it let them pet it afterward, kinda makes me question if it was high fence or something. But it also looks very young with a heck of a first year rack.

And after petting it afterwards gave that deer a death wish!

I can already see him not being afraid of humans any longer and walking right up to the next hunter he sees.
