Finally got out to look for morels here in OK today. My usual lakeside honeyhole was inundated with water and largely unproductive but I managed to find 3. Always nice to find some shrooms. Anyone else been lucky?

I'd love to get in to wild mushrooms but I'm scared of whatever learning curve there might be.

Crazy you posted this! I was going to come to the OB with some morel tips today because it's something I've wanted to start doing. I went out yesterday looking, but I couldn't seem to find one. What are some areas to focus on? I looked in areas near creek bottoms around fallen hard woods. I think it still may be a little cool up here. TIA

I don't know enough about shrooms to forage those but there are tons of blackberries that are gonna be ready soon in my area. Can't wait for some dumplings.
