I bought the Spypoint Link Evo off of Bowhuntingoutlet.com for $210.00. At first i thought about just biting the bullet and spending the extra money on the Covert but now I am glad i didnt. The setup is easy, the night and day picture are very comparable to pics i have seen from the covert as well. There are certain times in early morning and late evening where the pictures are took in color but are dark I will say. The service is $25.00 a month for three months or $15.00 a month for a annual plan. If somebody already talked about this my bad but just wanting to give a review on a cheaper cellular trail camera

Interesting. I'll have to check it out.

Fwiw though, I'll have to look but I'm pretty sure I only pay $10 to add my covert on verizon? That extra $5-15/ month would add up over 2 years to make the prices comparable.

If they were black flash I’d already have one. I just can’t go back to red glow cameras. Maybe they’ll offer it as an option next year.

The camera has dark lenses over the leds.

I wish i wouldnt have deleted my day pictures off of the app because it was mostly does because for the most part my bucks have been nocturnal.

This deer is about 30' from the camera

A night pic after a rain and with fog present

Also the camera shrinks the photos when sent to the app so it does cause the picture to look hazy. All pictures are saved to an SD card to which will not look as hazy

I have got pictures of deer passing through probably 30' further than the deer in the first pic and it detected it so that is another nice thing about it having a flash range of up to 90'. I normally set it to send me the pictures every two hours during the work week but on days i plan to hunt i set it on every detection to make sure im not bumping anything walking in

Im after that first deer hard. I think the time change is going to frick me and not get an opportunity till the rut..Hoping he slips up this weekend

Why would the time change prevent you from getting a shot on him? Your deer have watches?

Nice buck in first pic. I see light thru the treetops behind him. Probably would have been light enough to smoke him that pic.

Dude, don’t get one.

My buddy has a cellar network camera and it texts him pictures of bucks in the daylight by his stand while he’s stuck at work. frick that kind of torture.

Yea it does suck when you get day pics at work, it is nice though having it and knowing if anything is around when your going in...

And no my deer don't have watches, that is the second day pic of him in 3 months and both pics where at 5:30 it is his pattern, now at 5:30 it is really close to not enough visibility

I have two other nice bucks but they have been completely night lurkers... 1 main frame 10 with a split G3 making him and 11 that's about 18-19" wide and another main frame 8 with a triple split brow tine that is 19-20"

I had the complete opposite experience with the Evo. Bought the camera, set it up in the house and had it working like I wanted. Turned it off, set it up in my back yard. Never received a picture in 3 days. Checked the camera and the new lithium batteries were dead. The camera had taken 3300 pictures of nothing until the batteries finally went dead. Tried doing the setup again with a new set of batteries. Would not sync pictures to my phone anymore.

Needless to say, camera got returned.
