New poster here but longtime lurker. I've enjoyed many a day of reading on the rant and this place can be a real wealth of knowledge if you listen to the right people.

If it pleases the board I'd like to tell you about my new website for outdoor services. Before you get riled up I'm not selling anything. My goal right now is to get contractors signed up so when I take it live to the public I have a surplus of contractors to fulfill every request and its absolutely free for you to sign up no catch whatsoever.

Let me explain how it works. The concept is based on allowing the contractor to decide if he or she wants to purchase a lead or not. When you sign up you will select any service or sales that represent your company. Whenever a potential client submits a service request and selects your services within your selected radius you will receive a notification via email and SMS that a lead is on your dashboard. At this point you will have enough information to determine if you believe it is worthy of purchase, and once purchased, the remaining client information can be viewed so you can make contact with them.

Currently our product is bare bones and I understand we still have work to do but it is getting close to being market ready so I am looking for contractors. I welcome your feedback good or bad and I'm very interested in how I can make it better. I thank you for your time and please take a minute to check it out if it interest you.

You can find some good leads on FB but tons of clients prefer to use a more custom search for their service needs like homeadvisor and Angie's list for example.

Those guys may never need me. But sometimes even good contractors get slow, or maybe they reach the point where they want better work. I know guys who are booked up for a year and guys who are week to week so I believe it has a place. Also remember, it will also function as a service for residential and commercial clients who need tree work etc done.

I'm bumping this thread as the site has been finished now and works pretty well. When I posted last year I believe we just had the home page up but the app itself wasn't functional yet. I'm hoping to begin putting some energy behind the marketing of it soon so you may see an ad for it pop up on your social media feed or maybe even on TD?

For those who have the time take a minute to go through it and tell me how I can make it better from the homeowner and contractor side each.

The leads for contractors are practically free right now as I don't have a lot of users on the app but they will generally range from $15, $50, and $100 depending on the scope of work the homeowner or business is requesting. You can sign up and view the "teaser" leads absolutely free in hopes of determining if it's worth your time or not.

FWIW what we have right now is an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and I have lots of plans to make it better as we grow and get some capital to pour into it but I still want to hear your ideas!
