I always see people with cane poles hanging out of the Oldsmobile '86 parked on the side of the road at the drainage ditch between French Settlement draw bridge and Head of Island...

I don't live too far from this and have never heard of it. Is it a park or something??

lady in that trailer by the front two ponds charges $10 to either fish or ride 4 wheelers. Fishing is pretty good back there. She'll let you drop a non motorized boat in any of those ponds.
Had a post several weeks ago about this place.

The back ponds are very deep with almost straight dropoffs from the bank. Worm fishing is the ticket back there. Don't know what color since I only fished there once.

The first rule ... Is also the second rule. Just in case you forgot that one too.

I wish we could have an OB map.
