Towing the boat over from Texas since we'll be there Saturday-Black Friday and plan do some fishing at Lake De Cade, but looking for some suggestions on other places in that vicinity to try.

Fished De Cade a few years back when it was really cold, and did pretty good drifting and fishing plastics under popping corks. I know it's still a few weeks away and things can change, but generally looking for any areas that have produced during the same time of year.

Thanks

Go to end of road launch instead of Falgout. Can fish lake Merchant (north east side usually pretty good). Sister lake - mouth of bayou serveur (spelling probably wrong) or around the old game warden's camp. Lost lake may have some trout? Tons of places to fish in dularge.

What about eagle lake/lake paigie? Voss Canal? Been a long time since I've fished there but those were my dads go to spots for reds on dead shrimp under a popping cork. Used to throw spoons on the sand flats in lake mechant

Edit: to the op, not trying to give advice since I haven't fished there in so long. Just wondering if those spots still produce.

Still pulling the dredge out of that area.

Water is all messed up with all the tugs and pipe being dragged around.

Just going to have to find good water that week.

The dredge has really been screwing with the water quality down there...
