Fireworks - NOLA Metro Area

Looking for the best place to buy fireworks in NOLA metro area.
I am not looking to produce a Disney fireworks show. Just some nice stuff for my kids and their friends(all under 10 yrs old)
I usually go to Gretna to a stand on Hancock and the Expressway. Are they all pretty much the same on price? Should I try anywhere in Slidell?

Other than a friend of mine who does put on a pyrotechnic explosion every year, I know nothing about this place. He buys his stuff from Eagle Fireworks in Picayune, Mississippi LINK

I find the prices in st Charles parish and Slidell to be better than New Orleans West Bank.

I have a few friends who swear by the King Kong place in Slidell.
I usually go to La Place, but never spend a whole lot.

Before I got to your post this was going to be my response. I used to live in Slidell but have lived in Mandeville for 7 years now. I still go back to the Big Gorilla every year for the 4th and New Years.
Great prices, selection, service and specials.
Just look for the big inflatable gorilla on the roof. Take 1st Slidell exit and backtrack on service rd.

Lucky lous on Gause in Slidell. Very nice man snd will work with you. St Bernard has some stands also.Prices are much better than Gretna.
