Check Facebook and Craigslist. I had a cord 4’x16’ delivered Monday for $300

Make a post on the nearest Facebook group to you (perhaps Baton Rouge swap shop, or BR by sell trade).

I made a post asking for firewood in the hammond area and had plenty hits in no time.

There is someone selling some off of Juban road in Denham and he has a good bit on some racks for sale.

Pretty sure that house on the corner of Jefferson and manchac landing that sells crawfish has firewood stacked by the road with a firewood for sale sign - they did a week or so ago at least.

Can’t believe I was the first one to mention me. 2 years ago I would have had people calling me blowing my phone up about some dude looking to buy split wood

Oh how things change

Preciate it. Hopefully I’ll be doing it again next year.

i alerted you about this last year. most of what you could get around BR was 395 a chord from the same crooks that post a craigslist add like 4 times a day with cozy christmas pics.

then every once and a while you would find the 300$ guys, then rarely you find the 250$ guy delivered.

I have that guy on speed dial. Got me a chord of pecan last year cause thats all he had. planing on getting another this year.

If you get back into it i bet you could sell everything you cut to TD members without any trouble. lol I have an end of a steet that wouldbuy 3-5 chords from you
