FedGov limiting ammo?
Posted by Masterag

Went to Atwood’s today to get some things and got to talking to a guy stocking ammo. We were discussing .270 ammo and he told me that his bro in law knows a guy high up in the ammo industry.
According to the employee, the federal government told all the big manufacturers that if they went over a particular amount threshold for public customers they would no longer give them contracts.
Anybody Have any anecdotes or other Info?
Sorry fellas, I fell asleep as I was typing and didn’t realize I hit sent. Apologies

Should have known right then and there that it was BS.
"Yeah man, by sister's husband knows this guy that said Big Brother is trying to keep the little man down, man."
Not inconceivable, but the whole story just seems like made up BS. If this was even remotely true, it would be known by more people than the shelf stocker at Atwood's.
It's 100% coming, but still many years until we get to that point. The fed gub'mint won't be able to control firearms as there are hundreds of millions unaccounted for already in private hands. But they can control ammo, they can tax it, make you register to buy it, make it harder to buy anything but true hunting rounds, etc.

Some contracts stipulate that ammo manufactures can't sell overrun on government contract ammo. It has nothing to do with normal civilian ammo supplies. It is a minor inconvenience for manufactures to switch over to a "civilian" load (its probably just headstamp and packaging changes) instead of running full time with the same load and just selling the extra as government overrun.

Federal govt 100% strong arms private companies in this manner
They publically did it with covid vaccines
Why do you think oil and gas does DEI or ESG bull shite... it's because they have massive govt military contracts that require it to maintain the contracts.
You think this 1.7 trillion budget doesn't have strings attached?
