OB poll here. What is your favorite state to hunt whitetail and what states have you hunted?

Oklahoma for me.
I've hunted: LA, MS, AL, TX, OK, MO

IL

I’ve hunted LA, MS IL and KS and nothing like hunting a patch of woods along a cut cornfield on a cold morning during the rut. IA would probably be my new favorite but I haven’t gotten drawn yet.

Haven’t hunted it, but was supposed to be living in KS this year for work. PM on my job had bad arse lease with some beautiful animals. I enjoy TX for shear numbers:

Louisiana and Mississippi need a split category

Inside the levee or not

I've hunted Ohio (In laws have land), Kansas (2-3 times), and inside the levee (uncle is a member in one of the high dollar clubs) Louisiana can hang with either of the others.

I grew up hunting north la where a 16 inch 8 pt was a trophy

Yea, I like the fact that it doesn't cost me $1,000,000 to hunt in Illinois.

Probably Iowa after I cash in my points. Based on what I’ve hunted, I’ll say Kansas.

If big B&C type bucks is the standard Louisiana gets blown away by Kansas (and several mid west states), even on the high dollar river clubs. No comparison

I have hunted LOUISIANA, TEXAS, COLORADO, ARKANSAS, MISSOURI, WISCONSIN, and WYOMING.

My favorite place is WISCONSIN.
I just got back from MISSOURI and the terrain and views were very similar to WISCONSIN so I really enjoyed it as well.

I've only hunted LA, TX, and AR...so I guess Texas.

For me its more about terrain and scenery than it is trophy class. Hunting huge open areas doesn't seem exciting.

Give me thick oaks and creek bottoms.

I have only hunted Louisiana, Mississippi, and Kansas. I have had some really exciting deer hunts in Kansas when the deer are moving. Plus you get to watch thousands of geese and some big flocks of ducks.

I've hunted LA, MS, AL, and TX. The only one that I wouldn't hunt anymore is LA. After seeing the numbers of deer in MS, AL, and TX i have become spoiled and couldn't imagine hunting a whole season and maybe seeing just a handful of deer all year long. I currently live in and hunt in TX, but my favorite place that I've hunted them is in MS.
