Here are some of the fish we caught the 3 days we went to Falcon at the end of February. I wanted to post earlier but I just got out of banland.

South Texas. Border of TX and Mexico.

They had an American Jet Skier kidnapped and beheaded by Mexican drug cartels about a year ago. That kind of hurt the tourism in the area, but probably helped the fishing.

There are so many patrol agencies on the water and the launches. You can't even sneeze without a pair of binocs watching you.

I figured it would be pretty safe now, but I know a lot of people backed out of trips there after that incident.

I always wanted to go there and to El Salto or Lake Baccarac, but I think I'll pass on the Mexico trips now.

I went to Lake Oviatchia(sp)in Mexico a few years ago. It was a fairly new lake. I caught alot of bass but none the size of falcon.

Those pics all look like they are north of the bridge.

We stayed at the Osa Blanca, we fished the north end of the lake. That is the only place the water temp was warm.

A friend of mine from Thibodeaux who now lives in north LA brought a few up with him. He says his buddy owns the company.
