Any of the elk hunters on the board having success this season? Just curious how everyone's western hunts turned out so far. We leave Friday.

Well looks like I’m mostly early. I’ll change this to a Good Luck to all the elk hunters on the board. Not looking forward to the drive but can’t wait to be in the woods. Weather forecast so far looks good for where we are headed in CO.

My neighbor took a nice bull with a bow yesterday on the first day of his hunt lol. Haven’t talked to him about it yet. Just saw it on social media.

We saw a lot of elk but not a lot of really big ones. He was probably the biggest one we saw all week. Thankfully, he was in the mood!

My brother, dad And I leave for Montana in 5 weeks to rifle hunt the first week of season. We are definitely looking forward to being back out there glassing big sky country.

Nah she's actually very supportive of my hunting trips. This was mostly my call this yr. It's more work related than anything else.
