Me, my daughters parrain and his dad loaded up the dogs and made a trip to southern Oklahoma to enjoy some duck hunting.

It’s incredible the amount of birds that are there. Everywhere you look you see flights of ducks and geese. Not just the quantity of birds but also the quality......zero trash ducks that I saw

The other amazing thing is how easy these birds decoy and work. We would be in the blind and the guide would start calling at ducks in the ionosphere.... after a short hail call the ducks would drop 100ft in elevation and get in final approach pattern. It was a sight to see.

Here are a few pictures from the trip.

Looks like an awesome trip. One that you and yours won’t forget anytime soon. Any banded birds?

When did they start seriously hunting ducks in ok? My dad said he lived there years ago for a time and he couldn’t find anyone that duck hunted

Me and a buddy from Monroe will be there next weekend. What part of Southern Okie were you in? We are going to be near Fredrick.

Buddy went with them a few weeks ago... he’s in Alaska right now chasing Harlequins, but he confirmed that Goosereapers was top notch

I'll be making a hunt with them every year for the foreseeable future. I have some buddy's heading that way right now to hunt with them this weekend. They absolutely slaughter the ducks and geese day in and day out. One of the highlights of my day, everyday is watching our guides snapchat videos of the birds working.

No face paint on that white dog, that’s why you didn’t shoot a lot of ducks
