Any reports from up there? I grew up hunting a few of the water ways around there. I haven’t been back up there in many years. Still a good place to shoot a few ducks?

I hunt the area that used to be known as Red River WMA (northern side of Yancey)

obviously I’m gonna have to broaden this

Gar Hole, full of Salvania, no vegetation for food, no acorns, too many people, not a natural flyway, DU nets and pond heaters just north and west in Angelina....

ETA: Too many Chicken Hawks, no SeaTow response, always fogged in.

I checked on a little spot a year ago that was overrun with salvania. It would be nice if LDWF would maintain the little lakes/holes in the WMAs.

Probably find a decent hunt around there if you don’t mind fighting the locals. They’re mostly outlaws comparable to hessmanians.
