Dove hunting 2 acre green field

I just purchased 40 acres with two green fields in south Alabama. One field is two acres and looks great for dove hunting. Other one is pretty small.
Is there any downside to planting and light dove hunting then turning around and prepping field for deer season besides cost and time?
Any experience dove and deer hunting out of the same 2 acre plot? Thanks for your replies.

Never had an issue on our place doing it.

You’re fine doing that. I plant sunflowers, then mid October disk it under and spread wheat. You get to hunt the wheat too before it’s sprouts which is an added dove bonus. The only problem with planting sunflowers in a deer heavy area is they will mow them down until they get about knee high. If you can keep them out until the you’re ok.
