Mags never fit as tight as I expected, as you can see...the fiat base plate version exposing some of caliber stamped into the mag.

Those base plates are low profile, but the button to release the plate is too easily pressed when dropped out of the pistol. Tried to find a flat base that hid that release button a bit better...but DAMN, the butt hangs out.

Too beaucoup?

I just got my first semi-auto this weekend, a PX4 Storm and the mags seem to fit pretty snug.

I should have gotten a +3 instead, at least it would be more functional.

Easier to pull the mag if you need to, so no.

Easier to handle the Taylor Freelance version too. Out of mag pouches, in and out the gun...it’s just ugly. I need a 3D printer...could make something real nice.

Pic 1 looks ok, 2 and 3 seem a bit much but they probably work fine right?

Yep. Overrated and overpriced. If OP likes it, then that's awesome, but the one I shot was unwieldy, had a terrible trigger, and the price was almost $750.

It’s a hammer fired weapon. In that, there are TONS of ways to customize the trigger feel. I have a reduced weight trigger return string, firing pin block spring, and hammer spring. I’ve reduced the reset and upgraded the sear spring, both with factory nickel bits. Fully ambidextrous, no external safety at all, a real hammer you can keep your thumb on while holstering, second strike capability....

I’d put it next to whatever you’re shooting in a heartbeat.

Pretty sure the over travel, gap shown in picture 1, of the magazine into the gun triggers the slide to unlock when inserting a fresh magazine. I know it does, I just don’t know if that’s a planned feature. It’s German, so surely it is.
