Does glyphosate kill seedlings?

About to disc and grade an acre of land and plant centipede seed.
Its full of weeds right now...should I poison with killz-all first, then disc? Or disc away and hope that will kill the majority?
Not sure if the glyphosate will linger in the soil and prevent germination?
TIA

Glyphosate works through the foliage. No residual, but they do recommend 7 days before reseeding.
Spray, let it die, disc away..

Dry dead shite tends to disc a lot better in my experience

Follow these directions and you'll get your best results. Just make sure to wait at least 5-7 days. 7-10 days will give slightly better results.
The best weed control is a chemical, patience, and a set of steel disks.

glyphosate does not prevent seed germination...has to get on foliage to kill...
I personally would spray the area with glyphosate and then disc and plant after the first good rain...

Spray RoundUp, wait a week, disk.
If you want to speed the process up, put some Gramoxone in with the RoundUp.
eta: Don't spray gramoxone on a windy day. It drifts like crazy.
