I'm looking to buy a shield 2.0. Best price I'm finding right now is at buds. So what does OB say?

Sure. Just don’t expect the LGS to beat it.

More than likely the Buds price would mean LGS has to sell at a loss.

I make more on the transfer sometimes. But if someone is a PITA about it bet your arse I’m dragging my feet on that transfer.

I really hate to bust the local guy so much he's not making much money. I don't grind on the locals

Buds sells them lower than cost. We know the deal, brotha. When you buy it from the store, you’re paying to not have to deal with transfers and shipping times. Buy online if you’re patient, don’t mind a transfer fee, and don’t want to pay tax

The guy at my local store did the math, and said the $20 FFL charge on my S&W 15-22 was more than he'd make selling it to me for the same price.

ETA: I've bought from him, and given him some work when I didn't have tools for something.

When I buy it from the store I'm paying to look someone in the eye and hold them accountable if there is an issue later and to help a local brick and mortar store succeed in case I need some Thermacell the night before a hunt.

Unless it's WalMart. I won't swap dollar bills with them.
