Used a Tiger Stripe stencil and Krylon camp paint. Shot it down with degreaser first and blew it off with an air hose. What do you guys think for first try?

Looks good to me. I have a very inexpensive pistol build (80% lower) that I painted myself.

I really like the look. I guess my only concern is whether or not its gonna scratch off easily. If it doesnt, then i say you did a fine job, sir.

How does the texture feel? Is it a matte feel or sticky or what? I would think rattle can paint might be a bit screwy once it's on the gun.
The pattern looks good though. I think you did a good job with the colors.

It’s not sticky. The krylon camo paint is really flat with a matte feel to it. I expect it to wear off in spots but that gives it character.

I rattle can painted my black BPS as its my turkey gun. It scratches off in places over time, but who cares really I'm not trying to drop panties and it was like $8 to do. Serves the purpose really well.
ETA: What I did learn though, is do NOT use clear coat spray over light greens and tans. I painted my gun light tan and then did light green and light brown over, and the color difference is very minimal between the light green and brown over the tan.

I do this.
First thing I do is put on a base coat of one color.
I then get different kinds of foliage from around the yard and lay it all over the rifle before spraying over all that with another color.
Couple of rattle cans and it looks very sharp.
Like someone else said, it does wear but the wear ends up just adding to the look.

Scoo that is exactly what I did. Used the Green Camo as the base.
