Disposal of pine tree

Trying to get rid of a couple pine trees I had cut down. They're cut in roughly 3 foot sections and I'd rather not pay a ton to dispose of them. Any ideas on places I could dump them or someone who has any use for them? TIA.

Can't burn them?

Don't really have a spot to do that, unfortunately.

Rent a wood chipper and make mulch?

Do you own a chainsaw and an axe? What does a cord of wood go for in your neck of the woods? This has beer/gas/bait money written all over it.

Cut them too short to be of any use to anyone. Best bet now is to haul them off or burn. No one will come get them for free.

He said it's pine. If you are buying cords of pine you are going to burn your house down.

I wish I had talent to do that. Tried it once. Looked more like a dildo than the bird I was trying for.

If you live in the city cant you just put them by the curb and the trash people pick them up? I know I see brush piled up by the trash cans on my way in to work after a storm.

For future reference, if you ever have that done again be sure to get the logs cut in 8 or 16 foot sections. Somebody will come get them like that because they can be sold. 3 foot sections of pine are worthless except for pulp wood.
Since you can't burn them I'd find somewhere to haul them off to. If you have a way to get it there, a pulpwood mill would take it off your hands for free.

Don't think too many folks want a cord of pine.

Would it be wrong to just dump them in the woods? I obviously ain't tryin' to get fined but it's just wood. The dump was going to charge a couple hundred bucks to take them.
