Discount tools online?

Are there any good places to find tools, even used, online?
Looking to replace some tools. It's mostly fitting tools like center finder, plum bob, grinder/metabo/end grinder, etc..
May not be the right board but I figured you blue collars might be better than asking the pretentious folks on the OT.

Don't know about online. But, if you're anywhere near prairieville. Inside the flea market, there's "Shorty's Tools USA". This guy has a great selection of pretty much anything for fitting or industrial work in general. And his prices are hard to beat.

If you only need to use it once.
Check with pawn shops, you can get good shite for dirt cheap. My dad got a cordless Makita set for $200 a couple months ago.

How's their return policy?

I actually work with a lot of websites that sell automotive tools online including Amazon and I can tell you that Amazon is probably going to be if not the cheapest, then damn near it. Plus they have a better return policy than even Academy since their contracts with their vendors include a clause where they can take back anything, at any time, for any reason and hey, frick you vendor.
Best way to get the best price on a specific item though is to go into google and put the specific part number and manufacturers name in it then comparison shop what shows up.

amazon, toolup, toolfetch, toolsup, toolking

I use those, but I also use places like McMaster and Grainger which are the more expensive places. They have the biggest selections though.
I have bought stuff from Northern Tool and Harbor Freight. The Harbor Freight stuff is fine if you just it very casually.
Not really any complaints about any listed in this thread

theres a tool outlet at Tanger mall now too. They dont always have everything in stock, but what they do have is usually pretty cheap.

Probably a CPO, they sell on amazon and have their own online front

lol I have worked will every one of those and still do with a few of them.
All of those sites sell from the same places. They don't stock most of what they sell. Amazon stocks only what moves in high volume and the rest is drop shipped from manufacturers and wholesale distributors. Toolking is the same way. The others are straight drop ship.
Amazon will own the world one day. They have the perfect 800 lb gorilla for ecommerce. Since they own so much of the market, everyone has to sell through them. Which gives them all the data of what sells best without them lifting a finger. Then they cut you off and go direct to the manufacturer and muscle them into the deepest discounts of anyone since they have so much volume and basically cut you out of the picture since you now can't compete. And you did it to yourself, but didn't really have much choice.
They'll own Wal Mart one day.

Yeah I saw some nice prices on laser levels and 2 hole pins on eBay. Ill probably get stuff like that from there. I go to flea markets too but they're hit or miss. A damn crescent spud was $80 at the white elephant flea market
