Haven't been in a couple of months and making a trip tomorrow. I know there are no trout except way out in the sound. Any reports of inside action for reds, drum, sheeps, etc?
Thanks in advance.

Yes. Heard reports of areas with gin clear water. Just have to run a bit till you find it. Reds will be there. Heard reports of lots of drum caught under cork with dead shrimp along points

I stay on the hopedale side mostly, anyone have some generalizations on where to head in search of some cleaner water on the Delacroix side?

Hit our limit this morning on reds out of Delacroix. Almost all of them were hanging out in the high grass. Tried to wrangle up some drum but only ended up with 1 legal.

Heading down early tomorrow morning to bring my trailer/camper back down. Hoping to pick up a few trout, but will settle for reds as usual down there. I haven't caught my limit on trout since the spring of 2017 down there. It's the only place I fish regularly and I have been frustrated with the lack of trout. I know this can be explained and I have heard several reasons.

Yesterday (Saturday) caught easy limits of reds in Little Lake. Must have caught 40 with half being undersized. Went looking for trout in 4Horse &Lake John - only got 2. The water was clean everywhere.

Dang, had better luck than us, rat reds all day. I feel like I struggled to find clean-ish water around four horse and round lake, maybe my expectations were too high on what to be looking for.

Fished the other day, started in hopedale, river water everywhere. Headed toward Delacroix. Grinded out a two man limit. Billion 15” reds around. Water was better, but not great on the Delacroix side.
