I mostly waterfowl hunt but hope to pick up a buck and a doe this weekend on some private land west of Dallas. Any suggestions on a processor in the area that does things similar to folks in LA. Main concern is quality sausage. Rookie at this.

Is the land west of Fort Worth? Cinnamon creek is another option

Must be nice to know someone around here. Looks like no deer hunting for me this year.

I went there last year. The jalapeno sausage I got was good.

Actually met the guy through a DFW kayak fishing Facebook group and have gotten to be buddies. Pure luck, I am thankful.

Any suggestions

Hook me up with some ground meat. I'll even pay for it. I had to cook chili last night with beef.

I had some sausage made at cinnamon creek last year and was some of the best sausage I've ever had. But it was extremely expensive. I have also heard good things about kubys

I just picked up 200# of misc. processed deer from Kubys last week. Everything I've had is so far so good. Got a lot of the jalapeño and cheese sausage.

Nice! Where do you take the kayak to mostly? I've had one for maybe 5 years now and moved to Grapevine thinking I'd go frequently. A few weeks after we moved, north texas flooded. Feel like the vine has been closed more than its been open since I got here. And now having a 5 month old completely wiped out any hope of getting out on the water.
