I saw a good bit of deer yesterday morning in the same conditions between 7:05-8:30.

Decided to do something’s around the house today will be back in the woods before dawn tomorrow.

Nanny down. Guest got one with his son about 10 minutes later. It may be warm but they are moving. Sitting a bit for horns now.

That’s a lot more interesting than watching a couple of dogs run the deer around you off.

Just had 2 pits run up to my ground blind, heading back to the house now smh.

I haven’t be able to get a shot on a deer all year long and to have two big does get ran off by them really puts you in a pissy mood. People need to keep their dogs restrained somehow or another too many instances of dogs running off deer.

Dog owners are extremely irresponsible for the most part. Especially in the country.


We went a couple of years where we'd have a different group running our property. Been better the last few years.

And nah i couldn't shoot a dog, but I can sure as hell beat his arse with a stick.

I wouldn’t be able to shoot a dog either. For one the yelping would completely ruin the hunt and possibly other around you. Secondly, it’s kinda harsh to shoot a dog for following its natural instincts. The owners on the other hand could take a beating with a stick or two.

Yea and they were aggressive, apparently nobody knows who owns them.
