I understand Louisiana wildlife and fisheries already involved. I was told from some little area a little bit north of Lake Providence. Anyone from up that way? No clue how they know this. This is heresay but from generally reliable source.

It makes sense since Arkansas already has CWD and this is Close by.

Willman or Transavania is actually what I was told. I told them where is that etc. It’s actually south of lake providence. Right across from where deer was killed.

Couple questions

Are you saying
The deer that was shot in Mississippi actually came from Louisiana? Swam the river

Or are you saying it never was from Mississippi o begin with? It was killed in Louisiana?

How many pots have you smoked?

No doubt they do. I'm just trying to figure out what he is saying. He posted at 230 am so he's probably not going to be awake for a while

As a native Texan, let me first apologize for our great state making this problem accelerate so much.

Was talking to a Texas Parks and Wildlife biologist a few weeks back and he said it’s going to be a problem in every state with a deer population before too long.

It was already slowly spreading due to increasing human populations and urbanization pressure, but the captive breeding programs and high game fence operations that’s are so popular in Texas really increased the problem.

No way to cure it right now, and he didn’t expect one anytime soon, and said it will continue to spread. It will be everywhere before too long.

Care to share some evidence of this claim or some more information? There's a lot BS constantly going around on this topic, so lots of "well, my BIL's second cousin told me...".

God punishing the wicked for their greed. Too bad it's hurting everyone that hunts.

this. Seems most of the info shared on this board since cwd was found in MS has been incorrect. At least the info that wasn't from MDWFP. Forgive me if I ignore pretty much all information thats NOT official.

It’s a Louisiana deer and swam the river. That’s the story and they are sticking to it.

Either A) what I was told is true or B) they are spreading this info as a cover story to say that it’s really not Mississippi deer. That’s way I was asking on here.

Anybody see a bunch of green pants boys up around lake providence?

Is there a high fence place around LP? I can't think of one.

DNA was consistent with a delta deer which can be found on both sides of the river

CWD was not found in any of the samples as of now it’s an isolated case for now

Family member is in a club within 5 mile zone

That's still almost 30 miles as the crow flies to where this deer was killed.
