Anyone ever done any coyote trapping during deer season? If so any advice would be very appreciated.

I haven't. But I was once told the PVC pipe method works well.
Basically a pipe put up at an angle with chicken at the bottom. Yote goes in head first and cant back out. So I'm told. Guy claimed to have caught a bunch this way.

1- use foothold traps
2- use scent control.. whatever you do for deer.. do it X 10 for trapping coyote. rubber boots, rubber gloves, scent away. the whole 9 yards
3- dig a little hole at a 45deg angle, put lure inside (can be found where trap supplies spold) take foothold trap and place in front of the hole in the ground, sift dirt over the trap and make it look natural. Have it level with ground. place a couple stick/rocks or whatever behind hole and on sides of trap kind of as a guide so coyote can only come in one direction (right into your trap).
4-check every morning and evening

I've caught some with offset jaw foothold traps. Youtube videos and practice.

Stainless steel tie wire around a tree with a treble hook hanging about two feet above ground, just enough to where they have to get front feet off the ground. Bait with chicken. May not always have a coyote when the bait is gone , but there will be evidence of one was hooked.
