Cool website showing time lapse satellite imagery

Go here and click on the bottom right of the picture where it says Explore the World. Type in Pass A Loutre State wildlife area. The amount of change from 1984 to 2012 is pretty amazing. if you zoom in and focus on the leading edge of the shoreline it just melts away.

Cool find. Bookmarked. Even areas away from the shore are cool to watch. Areas of development and clear cutting are very apparent.

It's really interesting to look at Baton Rouge. This place has become extremely developed, although it was never intended to be rural.

Awesome website. One of the featured locations is the Mendenhall Glacier which is here in Juneau. SHows how the glacier and several others have retreated, which they have been doing for hundreds of years.

Damn look at Las Vegas it is really growing. Also type in Hoover dam. Looks like lake mead is about to go dry.

Watch as Vegas grows, Lake Mead shrinks. Almost a race.
