Received a quote that seems a bit high for 2 pads on each side of our current patio. 11x14 on one side and 12x15 on the other. Wondering what the average cost per sq. ft is for concrete including labor.
Thank you
Thank you

I just got a 16x20 poured in my backyard. I had a 12x16 that was kinda sinking, they poured over it and extended it. 4 inches thick. $1200. I had quotes from another place that was 1500 just for the 12x16. I went with some mexicans that do this on the side from their regular job. These guys made sure it was perfect. In Metarie. Not sure where you are.

was quoted $1880 for the 11x14 and $1980 for the 12x15 which is over $10

I was under the impression he meant start to finish. dig, pack, form, pour, finish.
also, moisture barrier and rebar installed.

Yeah, start to finish including materials.

$5 to $5.50 is going to be the norm, now, I think.

It's pretty easy to figure out the material cost of concrete, figure out your cubic yards(LxWxD) and call a vendor for a quote. If it's just a couple of rectangle pads, forms and rebar wont be much.

$10 still high, though, I think. I'll defer to the OB consensus, but turn key, unless you've got some major obstacle they have to work around or really unique conditions, what, $8 or $8.50?

If your just poured over a sinking slab, the new slab will continue to sink.....

To many unknowns. Two very similar size jobs can vary in cost because of things like can excavation be done with a machine or by hand. What to do with excavated material.
How to get concrete from truck to slab? Does contractor have insurance?
Seems to me the best answer is to call one or more reputable contractors and get quotes after they visit the site.

Visqueen included or not?
Had to ask.

Concrete is sold by volume, not square ft. You have to include the depth to determine the volume then convert to cubic yards. Figure the volume then call a concrete vendor.
