Do any of y’all with a sig p365 use Vedder holsters with it and if you do how you like it? I’m looking for one now for either OWB or IWB. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I'm in the process of breaking in an Sig P365 for my cc rotation. I bought a Roninn Okami leather holster that arrived today. I need to break in the holster some before I can start using. It's an OWB holster in black cowhide leather w/ gray smooth ostrich trim. I'll let you know how it works out. I now prefer OWB holsters. I use a Ronin SW Special w/ a Kimber Micro 9 and a TT Gunleater Snap Removable Pancake for a Kahr CM9. I've only bought one Kydex holster and didn't like it.

I use a vedder light tuck for both my shield and VP9SK. They’re fantastic holsters. I carry appendix iwb and I find them comfortable and very concealable. I think they have the perfect ride height, great retention, and I can actually successfully tuck a shirt and maintain concealment which is cool.

I imagine they’d work just as well with a 365.

Definitely get the claw option and a wedge

I've grown to really like the safariland ALS holsters. The ALS system is the big selling point for me. It's effortless to disengage and you can one-hand the holster off of the gun even when you aren't carrying it. Becoming my standard carry holster for everything. I really like being able to keep the gun in the holster all the time and still get it out with one hand.

You do give up some concealability vs leather paddle holsters. It doesn't hold the grip in tight against you so it does print a little bit. Printing doesn't bother me at all anymore. My wife doesn't notice it often, so there's no way anybody else does.

I've got the vedder IWB crosstuck for my P365. I had to take the claw off, because it really made the grip of the 365 push into me. Grip is like 40 grit sand paper and with no undershirt, it isn't pleasant on my back, side, or stomach.

One thing I'd suggest you consider is whether you want a "sweat shield" on the holster. The sweat shield is a piece of leather or kydex projecting above the inside of the holster, preventing the hammer/slide area of the gun from rubbing against your side. The only Kydex holster I bought didn't have a sweat shield and that was one of the reasons I hated it. This link shows some IWB holsters w/ a sweat shield. If a sweat shield is offered as an option it usually will cost an $10 or so. I'll never have another holster that doesn't have a sweat shield.

Vedder holsters have a full sweat shield, but it is Kydex.

Carrying in general, but especially IWB appendix carry got 1000x more comfortable for me after i dropped 70lbs.
