Any of you guys conceal carry a Glock 19? I’m looking at the gen 3. I currently carry a Ruger 380 but wanted to get something a tad bigger and a 9mm. I’m 5’10 180. I have talked to people and some say it’s too big to carry others say it’s perfect. Just curious if any on this board carry the Glock 19.

Glock 43 is your answer here.

Definitely going to look into the 43

The 43x has a little longer grip.
Great gun. Looking to maybe sell my Kahr Cm9 and pick one up.
Love my Cm9. Great trigger.
For carry though I trust the hell of of a Glock.

If you are thinking that a Glock 19 is what you want...with the absolute reliability and capacity that it has.. go ahead and get it.
Forget about the single stacks for now. I carry a shield daily and can admit that a single stack is a little easier to carry. That said, if you go for a single stack first- you will be second guessing until you decide to get the 19.
A good holster will make the 19 bearable and you will be as well armed as you could be. If you get tired of carrying the 19- pick you up a sub $300 shield (when/if this shite dies down).

Have you shot a S&W shield?

Love my Glock 19, but no way in hell do I want to carry it. The P365 is the perfect CC 9mm IMO.

I cc a glock 19 daily. No big deal at all. I use a raven concealment phantom holster. I also have a glock 43 that I carry when I have to be even more discreet, like with a tucked in shirt or with gym shorts.
You may also want to look at the glock 48, single stack. Shield Arms makes replacement mags that can give you 15 rounds capacity.

Glock 30 in a crossbreed supertuck, no issues. 30 is very close to same length and width as 19, but is thicker. Of course everybody is shaped differently, but a good holster and belt go a looooong way.

I'm the same height and weight.. i carry a g 19 most of the time. I conceal carry but don't really care if it prints a little.. the more you carry the more you realize how few people notice stuff like that. If someone does notice they are usually carrying also

Carrying a Glock 19 around is like carrying a 1911 in terms of weight. I carried one for the longest time, but eventually went to a Shield.

I have a few guns that I carry.
Sig P365xl
S&W Shield
Ruger LCP
Glock 19
Para Ordinance 1911 commander size in .45
The Ruger is the easiest. just put it in a pocket
Shield is next easiest, then the Sig, 1911, Glock.
That being said, I still carry the glock a decent amount. I carry the sig the overwhelming majority of the time. Same capacity as the glock and smaller.

I'm a little shorter than that and carry a sig 229 daily. About the same size as G19 but a good bit heavier and I dont have any problems with it. Pretty much always in shorts or Jean's with a tshirt. I wouldnt nearly let the size of the 19 scare you. At first I felt like it was printing big time but you get over that pretty quickly. My friends usually dont notice I have it.
The only time I need a smaller gun is if I have to tuck my shirt in. The bigger gun prints really bad, so I have a shield for that.

I’d never heard of that kind of barrel before.... interesting!

is what i carry. G19 is too big/heavy for my liking to carry around everyday.

I carry a Glock 19 daily. Appendix. I’m 6’1 180lbs. I don’t even notice it anymore. The comfort of knowing I got 15 ready to roll far outweighs the extra weight of the gun
