The issue with the cylinder locking up is being blamed on loose side plate screws. If it’s loose, it can cause the hand to slip off the ratchet.

I collect wheel guns, the original colts while very pretty had their own issues. The new ones are a cheap copy of those guns. Colt is just trying to cash in on the crazy market for the originals. Quality revolvers take a tremendous amount of fit and finish. If you want a great gun find a pinned and recessed S&W.

Colt has done the worst job of any company of capitalizing on their name and trends.
They missed out on the Cowboy action craze when people bought truckloads of Colt knockoffs because they couldn't get the real thing. They weren't a big player in the AR-15 record-setting sales period until the end, then quit it. When The Walking Dead made Pythons the hottest handgun on the planet, they waited until the show was dogshit in quality and ratings to trot out a defective new model.
They would make a good case study for a college student writing a business management or marketing paper.

Solid take, I would like to know how many Vaqueros Ruger sold since 93, Colt is just retarded.
