I am thinking that is why I have always run out of Fourchon. That's a long haul in my little 20' boat-I can be in the circle in a little over 20 miles and in >100' of water. Of course, those rigs get pounded a lot harder for that same reason.

We have found our best size fish coming from about 150 yards away from the platform on the downcurrent side.
