I need to clean my windows on the outside. Would spraying a bleach\water solution be effective for the solution? I was hoping this would cut down on scrubbing.

Be careful with any landscaping below.

i am trying to eliminate having to put elbow grease into it.
When i some algae spots on side of my house, i will spray it with bleach. I wait a few minutes and rinse it off and problem solved.

I've got a 2 story old wooden house with 31 double hung wood sash windows, most with 4 large panes, some with 16 small panes on top and 2 large panes on the bottom.
Long story short, open the working shutters, put up the extension ladder and have a 5 gallon bucket of soapy water, a sponge, my hose and a squeegee to get all the water off the glass once they are clean.
Takes me damn near a whole day, but well worth it when done.

A mop bucket, warm water, some ammonia, one of those squeegee things like at the gas station. Maybe a brush if you want to clean the bugs and dirt and shite from the sill.
