Ordered an inforce aplc for my G19 from amazon. Said the shipper was inforce. Light was an obvious fake. Came in a plain black box with no manual or battery included. This was obvious but it’s getting more common.

I receive a knockoff washing machine part. I only realized when the new part failed after a couple months and the new one I ordered was clearly a OEM and much more robust than what came the first time. Both orders where the same item from amazon but from different shippers.

"Got" my Leupold Alumina covers for my VX5HD today only to find the package had been cut, taped back, and therefore empty. Great.

I had this happen with shampoo a while back. The seller is still selling the product, and there are now a bunch of other reviews saying it's fake. Amazon DGAF.

My gf just canceled her Prime account b/c the price went up, and customer service and shipping has gone drastically down. I'm still on a free student Prime account, but will not be renewing after it's over

Had the same thing happen with a weapon light. Complete fake showed up and when I called about it I was told it was common. Got a replacement a cpl days later.

I've been considering doing this. I've had it forever, probably almost since they started doing it. But, I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth it. The shipping is rarely two days anymore. I can usually find similar prices elsewhere. I forget that we even have Prime Video. But, the idea that they might have the best price on something and actually get it to me in two days has kept me hanging on.

I've cancelled my yearly prime. Now I just buy a months worth only when I need something from them fast. The price of paying full price for 2day is close to the cost of a month subscription. And I get the bonus of prime for the remainder of the month.

I will say, Prime has it's benefits in a large city like Houston. I'm able to get same-day delivery on some things.

I stopped buying knives from Amazon - too many reports of knockoffs and counterfeits. Their supply chain has been compromised for whole categories of items.

Very hit and miss (and I'm generally #TeamAmazon).

Yeah I've ordered stuff before and it came to me opened/parts missing/taped back together....Amazon's return department must not review the returns and just "puts it back on the shelf".

The last couple of packages Ive had from amazon looks like they were boxed up by Helen Keller and then stomped to death by a T-rex. Last box was completely open. I know it could be the UPS service but its always just the Amazon packages though
