We built a deck out at the camp a couple of weekends ago and now we want to put a roof over it. Does anyone have a suggestion for low cost roofing material and where I could get it in or around Shreveport? Thanks in advance.

Lowe's and Home Depot sell that type of stuff.

Metal will probably be cheapest and least amount of labor to install especially if it is a gable roof and your have not put down roof sheathing. If you have installed sheathing and want to go real cheap rolled roofing…

Corrugated galvanized metal. Last forever. Any lumber yard will have it.

Metal would be good. Not very expensive and fairly easy to install.

Thanks. I figured tin was the way to go.

If its a deck, its probably low slope, stay away from shingles.
Metal panels fastened with neoprene washer screws is the best bet, will last a very long time.
