Had a lot of fun this morning even though they were small. Kids really enjoyed it. Going to try to cook some of them up tonight.

Harbour Master said all the big ships left last week when there was talk of a hurricane. Said one of them had two helicopter pads. You would think one would be sufficient.

Was there a month ago. It's a beautiful place...by boat.

Best day was a boat tour, all the way up to SCYC. Lots of activities along the way. Islands of famous people, saw Tim McGraw on his dock, swimming with pigs, swimming with reef sharks, iguana Island, grotto...

Yea we are here for a week and have a boat all week at our house. Nice to run around in a smaller boat in case you have to get out and push. We are staying in Hartswell at Moriah Harbour and there are some incredible beaches right across in front of our house.

No, the deckhand did. We were on a charter. We have been catching and cleaning grouper we caught from our boat though. Just no triggers yet.

Triggers are yummy. But nothing beats those Hinds/Strawberry groupers.

That’s a good day of fishing.

Yea the Strawberry grouper is underrated. The guys we were fishing with taught us about hand line fishing which my wife and kids actually enjoyed more than using a rod and reel. Wife was pulling in a grouper and a barracuda cut it clean in two right behind the head. It was pretty impressive how fast and clean the the cut was. Pretty incredible how it cuts right through the backbone so cleanly.

Here is a picture of the boat we rented for the week. It is a Stott Craft and is perfect for hitting up some of the shallow mangroves for bonefish.
