It is getting a little out of control in my yard and roundup doesn't seem to do the job so I am looking for something else to help contain it.

I have not. I only tried the regular round up.

If it is growing on your house or a brick wall, it is going to be a real B!tch to get the root thingys off when it finally dies! Those things stick worse than super glue.

Try 2-4 D with a little dawn dish soap mixed in. Be careful of over spray on other plants and bushes

Weed eat it back, let the new growth sprout about 10 days and hit it with roundup

Back when I was landscaping, we'd use it for ground cover at Burger Kings. It served its purpose. I've see it pull brick facade off a 2 story house though.

Glufosinate containing products (Liberty, Finale) will have more activity on it than glyphosate containing products (Roundup etc). May take a couple of applications to kill it all.

I was able to get a small patch out of my lawn by weed eating all of the way to ground, turn up the dirt and roots, and then sprayed some heavy duty weed and grass killer on it for everyday for a week. Still have my large patch and make sure it does not get close to my brick.
