Anyone have one? Seriously considering a Leer 100XL on my truck. I love the idea of the functionality and I like the look of the Leer 100XL just wondering any pros/cons from anyone who has one?
Truck is a 2018 GMC SLT.

I got sick of my stuff getting wet in my full metal jacket roll top on my last truck, so I went with a leer on my current truck. For me it works well. I have a couple of trailers so losing the bed is not an issue. I installed the decked 2 drawer system then put a full slide cargo glide on top so I can slide my gear out. It took a lot of rigging and money but man it’s awesome.

Have one on the old ford (7.3). I got 22mpg on my last road trip to northwest Texas. Got 19-20 without it. I like having dry gear. My biggest gripe is how dirty the back glass on the cab and the front glass of the shell get.

I have one on my F250 that I got from someone on the OB a couple years ago. I like having it more than I expected, works great to put stuff on when going on trips without having to worry about getting wet, cluttering the cab, or getting stolen out of the bed of the truck. I can take mine off in about 5 minutes with 2 people.

Mister,
What do you think about that decked system? Been looking at it recently and think I’m leaning that way. Your camper shell looks pretty sharp, but don’t want to lose the bed. If I put my toolbox back in, I can literally fit two kennels, and that’s about it.

I like it. I’ve had it for over 2 years and have not had any issues. It’s durable.

The install is easy, adding that cargo glide to the top,was not easy.

My truck has the longer bed, the drawers have a ton of space. I can fit guns, gear, tools and more with room to spare.

Thanks for the info, pretty sure I’m pulling the trigger before hunting kicks off. You installed yourself? A full Saturday project?

I had one on my truck for a while and my dad now has it on his truck. Sometimes having it is awesome, sometimes its a pain. If I we're to get another one(and I may when I get a new truck) I would absolutely not get one without it having flip up windows on the side. having full access to the gear close to the window without having to climb in the bed is the way to go.

If you drive much on dirt and gravel roads they are huge dust collectors. I bought a bed sealing kit, caulked, and added weather stripping to mine and still get a good amount of dust. I have to use Rubbermaid totes for things that I dont want to get dusty.

The decked system alone installs quickly maybe an hour. I had to modify it some to get that cargo glide mounted on top of it, thats where the time was spent.

I installed the 122 on my F150 and absolutely love it. It has a little extra height at the tailgate which I have needed on occasion. I also got a 1500# bed slide with side shelves, which I would highly recommend. No more climbing into the bed of the truck.

Pros. 1. everything in bed sealed from weather. Great for
hunting gear
2. everything in bed under lock and key. Great for
tailgating or shopping.
3. Had extra lights installed which come on
automatically when the lid is opened. Great at
night.
Cons. 1. restricted from hauling anything tall. My heavy
or tall hauling days are behind me.

I have one. The only time I don’t like it is when I want to get a scoop of gravel, mulch, dirt, or compost.

I bought a lift for it that is suspended in my garage and works great.

Just picked my Decked system up and installed last night. Only took me about 8 beers, so I was happy with that. I like the system a lot so far. About to go install the tie-down rails now, and waiting on a toolbox to show up, but impressive so far. I am getting tie down points to install on my kennels just so they are more secure since they are now sitting so much higher up.

The only thing I don’t like about it so far, my damn bow case doesn’t fit by maybe an inch. If the damn drawers weren’t tapered it would fit perfectly. Other than that, it’s pretty solid and impressive.
