How deep, how close to water and how much?

If you are talking mineral salt, we never bury it. We just pour on a stump or in a hole. I have a well established spot that is probably 18" deep and 6' round now.

Soda ash + salt
Dissolve equal parts in 5 gal water
pour on stump

180 acre's that is hunted by a few people, but is near a WMA ... buddies land.
