Is there any proof that this was actually off highland? Did you get this first hand?

Nope. Could have been anywhere I guess.
Person I got it from isn't one to make shite up though and I'm about 99% sure the pic was taken in BR.
Eta- in the full picture you can see their faces.. I just zoomed in to cut them out. Also it was road kill, not shot.

I hear you and Im not questioning the honesty of you or your friend. This just happens every year. I dont get what people get out of sending out emails and texts of big deer, but changing the area to there hometown. its dumb.
