I do think there is a difference in the undeserving getting money from the govt that comes from our paychecks and someone undeserved money from a private company overseas

Can you handle the burden of downshift, alx and salmon being mad at you?

As you shouldn't.

As for the rec fishermen payments, I can't verify the claims.

I already gave it to you in my prior posts...BP was found to be grossly negligent in its direction of the drilling operations, for profit motives, which resulted in the death and destruction that occurred. You do understand that, correct?

I cannot even imagine the weight this would place on someone's conscience.

And as I understand it, freely. No one sued for this.

None, actually.

Why not?

If the same property owner usually rented the camp out and lost revenue due to the spill, he would have a valid claim. Why would a claim from the property owner be unjustified just because he lost use of his own property?

Same with the boat owner. If I lost rental revenue on a boat, it would be a valid claim: why not loss of use on a personal boat?

The real question is, do bucket fishermen have a valid claim?

This is for a thread not titled

It in fact is for the thread titled, because all these licenses I bought were recreational. The claim is for recreational fisherman only. I don't sell anything I catch. If you were to look at the paperwork that is exactly what they are asking for. When I started filling it out, I started to realize just how much I missed out on.

Just averages (not counting quality time spent with family & friends)
Shrimp - 2-3 icechest on average - 2 trips a month
Crabs - 10-12 hampers - 2 trips a month
Specs - Being we fish the summer a lot along the coast I would say 40-50 lbs of fillet
Redfish - Usually throw back unless I want a few to grill, so 10 fish a month

No, because it tastes like shite. If John Besh were operating a soup kitchen... yep.
