Anyone ever tent camped there? Thinking about heading there tomorrow with the weather being so good but also wondering how meth headish it is there. Any recs would be great. Thanks

I've been there in the camper a few years back, didn't find it meth headish at all. It was a nice place.

I've never been but my sister tent camped there last year. They had a great time from what she said and she's got two young kids.

Tent camped there a couple years ago. From what I remember I didn't really like it because the campsites were under tall pine trees that didn't offer a lot of shade and left the ground level with a kind of "open" feel if you know what I mean. Just didn't make it seem very private.

We camped there about 8 years ago in our travel trailer
Really liked the hiking trails and bike trails
We did have the tubing trip from hell though...we put in up by the bridge in Franklinton(?) for what we thought and were told would be a 1-2 hour float back down to the campground...5-1/2 hours later with two crying kids(8&9) who though we would die on the river, we finally reached the beach at the campground
