Too much demand for quality stuff anyway. No reason for them to have a sale

The Biden administration ruins everything. I had to buy an artificial tree for the first time because Christmas trees are scarce. The ones they had looked like shite for the most part and extremely expensive.

Brownells has a BRN 10/22 stripped receiver (with rail) for $79.

I’m tempted to buy a couple

How the hell are live Christmas trees scarce this year???

They literally have to grow them 3-5 years out and they basically all come from the Carolinas or somehere else in the lower 48 states, so there's essentially zero supply chain issues that could pop up with chopping and shipping a bundle of Xmas trees across a region.

They also don't even feed or grain like livestock.

Unless these trees are actually being shipped from China, then there is simy no reason for there to be a shortage of Christmas trees at all.

I think retailers are all just intentionally holding back stock and charging twice the price. For Christmas trees, they can easily afford to wait another year and keep them in the ground.

A tree shortage is as blatantly false advertising as a corn or turkey or cattle shortage... Which all are supposed to be domestic products.

The Christmas Tree “shortage” is the new crawfish price uproar.

Actually heard a Christmas tree farmer from South Dakota talking about it.

The trees that would be ready this year would be planted around the time that the country was coming out of the recession so they just didn’t plant enough. Combine that with a drought (don’t remember when they said that was) equals not enough trees.

We bought an artificial tree this year. Not because real trees are scarce, but because real local tress are pure utter shite. We've always bought real trees,

Tired of buying ugly trees for $150+, just bought a fake one from homedepot for less than $250. Will probably last 5+ years, I'll light a candle for the smell.

how long does a gun stay on the market before it is considered time-tested and reliable?

Clone or not.

I don't know.

I'd imagine PSA would have put it through the mill but there is only so much testing they can do vs real world scenarios from day to day usage.

I agree.

I don’t want to start a frikin war. But I am sure sig out the 365 thru the wringer. The striker drag was a problem found by the consumer.
