Trash bag didn’t calm the hysteria in Winnfield over the past couple weeks... wild.

Winn Parish has evidently become a haven...one was in town 2 Weeks ago - he was tranquilized and carried to Dewey Wills by the WLF. Thursday a mom & her cub were spotted on HWY 84 in a neighborhood... just down from Chev dealership/McDonalds... and a lady on Cane River took pics of one swimming in front of her house.

Whut is goin on.....

This video was taken at our deer camp in Morehouse parish. They are protected and we can't do a damn thing about them. I put this camera out on my overhead awning and set it to record, had to put several videos together because the Browning camera would only do 10 seconds at night.

Bear

I've been of the opinion that we should not have been trying to get them established in Louisiana because they bring zero good. They are either a nuisance or a danger.

They’ll be a fine big game animal when a season is opened.

They have a couple of black bears in the Money Hill area that are regularly seen by the lakes.

Personally I'd like to see them left alone until they become a threat, not just a nuisance. Relocate perhaps. We've cut most of their habitat so that's why we are seeing more.

A 200 pound raccoon will tear some shite up. Don’t want them here.

They will rarely be a threat, even when the population is high. Arkansas and Georgia have a season each year. Florida had one a couple of years back, and they killed 300 in two days.
I saw 8 in a 26 hour span in Madison Parish last year. NE La is overrun with them. Time to thin em.
