Headed to a wedding in Vermont this October. And was looking at what I can kill up there that time of year looks like bear is open and Vermont has the highest concentration of black bears in the US. Anyone ever hunted bear or anything else in Vermont? Looks like they have a few waterfowl guides also and moose but moose is a draw tag and they only draw 10 percent out of state

Suggested Vermont activities:

Hippie Watching
Granola Tasting
Tree Embracing

Seriously-bear hunting up there would be great, and I bet the leaves will be beautiful then. You may want to look into some trout or salmon fishing, as well as upland bird hunting.

Just a heads up: Vermonters have NO idea how to make sweet tea or cook grits. They don't even know what grits are...

Know nothing on bear hunting, but Vermont is a terrific state to visit.

If you find anything out about it, bring it back to the board please.
